I read this and loved it, as it's so true for me. I heard each one of these things growing up!! LOL.
I hope everyone is staying cool, as it's HOT out there. We have had a High Temperature Warning for 5 days now. It's supposed to cool down a little this weekend. I sure hope it does.
I am having some stomach surgery Thursday, the 25th. I have a condition called achalasia, and also have a condition called gastroparesis. They are going to put me to sleep under general anesthesia, put a instrument down my esophagus and take a needle down and try and inject botox into 2 different areas on my stomach. At the top and the bottom. We hope this helps for a while. The longest is 6-12 mos. I can have this repeated as long as it works, but if it doesn't, it will require a quite extensive serious surgery. Praying this works. I am keeping optimistic. :-).
This should be in and out if all goes well. Had all my pre-op lab work done yesterday.
I was out in the back yard yesterday and saw this bird's nest on the back wall of our patio.
It was way to high up for me to see inside it, to see if it was empty, or had eggs or baby bird's, so David came out and snapped a pic for me.
It was empty, but isn't it amazing how birds build a nest? Look how perfectly round it is. God's handy work for sure.
