Doc's appointment and it's 55 degrees!!!!

Oh my goodness, it feels heavenly out today. It's 55 degrees outside and I am LOVING it. Of course they are calling for cold weather again in a few days but oh my am I loving the 55 degrees outside!!

I had my doc appointment this morning, and was NOT late, but was 15 mins early!!!! LOL. I asked him about him refusing to see me last time, and he said it wasn't him, but the office did have a new policy about tardiness. I showed him a pic of my finger on my cell phone, and he was upset they didn't let me see him. He thinks it is 1 of 3 things I had. Gout, which he is getting a uric acid blood work test to check, cellulitis, which, I healed myself, or lupus. He is leaning towards lupus, as I have the rash on my face, and other symptoms also. I have been having some chest tightness, wheezing, so he got me to go get a chest xray. He gave me a B-12 shot. I have eczema in my ears!! So we gave me a script for ear drops. I told him about maybe needing to increase my antidepressant and he wants me to wait until spring arrives for good, as he thinks, it's seasonal and upping it, will only cause me to be more tired. That I do NOT need. I know, I don't feel well, and hope we can get this figured out. Keep me in your prayers please. I want and need to feel better. Thanks for all your kind words, without y'all I am not sure I'd get thru all this. Thanks for sticking with me.

Oh and soon, 3 weeks or so, I will have a new grandson, Brice. Here is a pic of my son,Jeremy his daddy and my daughter in law,Amanda, with Brice inside. I can't wait!!

Thank you..

I want to thank all my blogger friends for their sweet comments since my last blog. It's so good to know there are people out there who care. I am glad that you will take the depressed Debbie, as well as the happy Debbie. It's been a tough winter for me. I so wish I was healthy enough to work, to get out of the house more. I have cabin fever so bad. They said on the evening news that this has been one of the coldest winters on history. That with the loss of my sister, being sick at the holidays, our finances, health, etc., I guess I have some depression going on. I do take a antidepressant but am going to talk to the doc about upping it. I just don't feel good, or right. not sure what's going on, you know, when something isn't right? I have that feeling. Maybe it's menopause. I am 53. I don't know. Bear with me, please. I don't know what I would do without all my blogger friends. I love you all. I need y'all in my life, so stay with me, friends. I hope soon, the happy Debbie is back.

Life

I really need to blog, as I haven't in almost a week. I have had a "not so good" week. Lots of pain, both physically and mentally. The neuropathy is kicking my butt and for some reason, my sister's death has hit me hard. Maybe I thought it wasn't real and I'd wake up and she'd be here, but I realize it really did happen and she's gone. I miss her, I miss her a lot. I ask why also. What could I have done differently, to help her. I want to talk to her again, see her again and help her. I can't and it's killing me.

I also have this sinus, asthma thing going on. I can't wait till summer. But it's cold and snowing here today. I long for the warm days, and the sunshine, so I can sit outside. It's only February, I know. Lots more winter left in Ohio.

I wanted to share with you a new pic of Daniel. He's 7 weeks in this pic. Look at that grin!!!! He's a keeper for sure!! They sent some pics of the girl's that I need to scan to show you. Just pretty sister's he has!!

My finger..

I haven't blogged about my finger, so I guess I better since I have had inquiries on it. Thanks for caring bloggers!!!

I had a Dr. appointment on Wednesday for my finger, and my normal 3 mo check up. I arrived 5 mins late and they refused to see me. Now, I have been with this doc for 11yrs now. I arrived late because we had a high wind warning and the winds were at 67 MPH. David has COPD and the wind made him move alittle slow. I can't drive, because of my diabetic eyes. Also the receptionist was on the phone for a few Min's and I stood there to check in. David was beyond mad. So, I can't get in until the 25th. My finger is doing better, not red anymore, alittle swollen and sore. If it gets bad again, I will go to urgent care or the ER, before the 25th. David is really going to give the Dr. a talking to.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Mine is quiet so far. David works weekends, so I am alone all weekend.

I will try and blog some more later, but I wanted to let those who asked about my finger. Thanks guys!!!

Someone, anyone, nurses out there, wanna tell me why my finger is all swollen, red, hot and very very painful? I woke up yesterday with it like this.

I AM A SLACKER!!!!!

I have been a slacker on my blog this week. Did anyone miss me? Probably not. It's been a busy week. On David's 2 days off we were BUSY!! The weather was OK, finally, so I got my hair cut, last it was done I think was early Dec. I have short hair so I looked like a rag a mop..LOL. We got the tags transferred to the van, got the title in our name, got my driver's license renewed, which expired last August! I don't drive but keep it just in case I ever HAVE to, like a major emergency. We also got David's diabetes class done out at the VA Hospital, so we were on the run, all day Tuesday and Wednesday.

I woke up today with very very swollen fingers and knuckles. Good ole arthritis is raising it's head. I also had a big fall yesterday, so I am stoved up from that. When I fell I knocked over a table that had a lamp and a bamboo plant in water and rocks. I broke the glass it was in and had a mess to clean up off the carpet. I had to get the steam cleaner out and steam clean it, and was hurting like certain. These falls are coming closer and closer together and it's really making me mad!! I have always been so active and do not want to give it up, but my neuropathy is yelling at me. Along with the fibromyalgia, I am a mess. When I just had the fibro, I could still get along pretty ok, but when this neuropathy added to it, boy oh boy. Oh well, enough complaining..LOL.

My daughter sent this to me yesterday, Cooper had fallen asleep eating his lunch. So CUTE!!! I guess he didn't want to eat his mac and cheese and peas...LOL

Monday after the Super Bowl..

Go Steelers!!


Actually it didn't really matter to me on this one. David did live in Tucson Arizona for 15 yrs, but David isn't a sports fan, but the Cards were the underdog, so it would have been nice to see them win, but then the Steeler's made history, and this seems to be the year for history making. Oh well it's over and I wasn't to impressed with halftime or the commercials.

My son sent me this pic of their Yorkie, Sarge, my grand dog. Isn't it cute? Sarge will soon be brother to his human brother in March. Brice Randall is due March 15th!! I can't wait! They live in Arkansas so I hope I will get to see him soon after he arrives.



We finally got a van! It's a 1996 Dodge caravan, not new but new for us and much needed. We got some income tax money back, so that is what we used, along with the Geo as a trade. The van has 117,000 miles on it, but seems to be in good condition. We are excited!! God is good to us and provided. What a good God he is. Here are 2 pics of the van. It's a plum color which David is not fond of...LOL.





On Saturday, I dropped my cell phone in the toilet!! Oh I was so mad! I am glad I was due for a upgrade. I now have a LG-Voyager. It's pretty cool. I have never ruined a phone before but I sure did this one. I bent down to flush the toilet and plop it fell right out of my pocket..LOL.



I carry my cell phone on me at all times. In case I fall, etc. I fell in the back yard last summer and couldn't get up and laid there for a long time, till David could hear me, so now I carry it all the time, so I can call someone for help if needed. I never know when I am going down with this neuropathy. I do a lot of falling.

I guess the groundhog saw his shadow which means 6 more weeks of winter. Hey, it's only Feb 2, I could have told the world that!! LOL. Esp in Ohio!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and are having a good Monday. I am quite sleepy today and poor David is worn out. He has been sick and has worked the last 3 days. He is off tomorrow and Wednesday. I am glad, bless his heart. He is still quite dizzy. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers please.

Bart the dog, is over on the couch, snoring.. So funny!!!
