Doc's appointment and it's 55 degrees!!!!

Oh my goodness, it feels heavenly out today. It's 55 degrees outside and I am LOVING it. Of course they are calling for cold weather again in a few days but oh my am I loving the 55 degrees outside!!

I had my doc appointment this morning, and was NOT late, but was 15 mins early!!!! LOL. I asked him about him refusing to see me last time, and he said it wasn't him, but the office did have a new policy about tardiness. I showed him a pic of my finger on my cell phone, and he was upset they didn't let me see him. He thinks it is 1 of 3 things I had. Gout, which he is getting a uric acid blood work test to check, cellulitis, which, I healed myself, or lupus. He is leaning towards lupus, as I have the rash on my face, and other symptoms also. I have been having some chest tightness, wheezing, so he got me to go get a chest xray. He gave me a B-12 shot. I have eczema in my ears!! So we gave me a script for ear drops. I told him about maybe needing to increase my antidepressant and he wants me to wait until spring arrives for good, as he thinks, it's seasonal and upping it, will only cause me to be more tired. That I do NOT need. I know, I don't feel well, and hope we can get this figured out. Keep me in your prayers please. I want and need to feel better. Thanks for all your kind words, without y'all I am not sure I'd get thru all this. Thanks for sticking with me.

I will end with another pic of Daniel. He's a doll baby!!

Oh and soon, 3 weeks or so, I will have a new grandson, Brice. Here is a pic of my son,Jeremy his daddy and my daughter in law,Amanda, with Brice inside. I can't wait!!

God Bless~

The doc had a poor excuse - hopefully he said sorry. I hope your feeling better real soon and that if its Lupus, that they can get a handle on it so you can get better! At least the doc is going the extra mile to make sure he has all your ducks in a row instead of having you keep coming back for more tests.

55 degrees? I'm soooo jealous.

Hi Debby,
I'm so glad you got in to see the doctor today...his policy about being late is for the birds though! It was so nice here in OHIO wasn't it! I did hear cold weather is on it's way back though! Spring has to be right around the corner...right??? I'm so sick of this cold weather!

There are times when the rules need to be stretched just a bit... and I think there were extenuating circumstances, but I'm glad you said something to him about it. He does sound like he is considering all aspects of the possibilities of your symptoms.

Yea for 55 degrees!!! Gives you a bit of hope for spring to be here soon!

First of all...I'm so glad you saw the doc and asked him all the pertinent questions. My God woman, you are falling apart! It does sound like he has a plan so that is good news to my ears..

Second..I like the new look of your blog..it's all happy and springy. It's coming soon I promise. Well I can't promise anything but I heard it's coming soon and I am goin' to believe it!

Lastly, send that cutie pie over here. I could use some lovin' of a little baby!! You are so blessed, and I am so jealous, can't you tell!!

Glad you had great weather today. We all need that once in awhile to cheer us up a little. Take care Deb and keep in touch...love you...

So glad you confronted the doctor on the last missed appointment. I find the doctor and front office pass the blame back and forth. Glad you had the picture of your finger. Roger has gout and has to stay away from liver, beer and other foods that can make it act up. He also has rheumatoid arthritis. Glad you had a taste of 55 degrees. It was 70 here and my fibro doesn't like it over 60. Now tomorrow we're supposed to get snow. Go figure when we're supposed to be traveling to see my friend and Kiereney. Take care and have a great weekend. Hope David is feeling better.

Hey Debbie Jean Jelly Bean! It's been far too long since I've wandered over and was missing you!

Love the spiffy new look of your blog...I'm a fan of "live, laugh, love." And I am also a fan of people who call doctors out when it needs to be done--and, it's true, they do volley the "blame" back and forth. But at least now he's paying attention and you're on your way to getting it all taken care of.

I'll tell ya, Deb...menopause can certainly be a wild ride! Add in the havoc that Rx's wreak on our bodies and it's a wonder murder and mayhem don't ensue! HA! Although, I must admit...you seem like a much nicer person than I am so maybe that has to be taken into consideration...BWAHAHAHA!

I hope you're having a good weekend, and I can't wait for pix of Brice in person. Everytime you post one of Daniel, it makes me smile and say "Awwww..."
