Monday night 11:30PM

Well, I haven't blogged since last Wednesday, when it was 55 degress and now it's 14 degrees, going down to 7 or below tonight. It's supposed to get warmer as the week gors. I can handle that!! Warmer is always better.

Not to much has been going on in my world this week. My chest X-Ray was normal, which I was glad to hear. I will be having blood work done on the 17th of March. It's for both Dr. Randall, my PCP, and Dr. Kim, my endo. They are all part of the same company, called Prime Care. It makes it better so I don't have to give to each doctor. They take like 10 vials as it is, when they take..LOL.

David has 2 doc appts this week out at the VA. Tomorrow he has a eye appt, for a eye check up and Wednesday he has a GI consult for that dreaded colonscopy. He is 55 and hasn't had one yet. But then I am 53 and haven't either. I have had a endoscopy, but not the colonscopy. Ewwwwwwww. So we get to make 2 trips to the VA hospital, 2 days in a row. Yeah!! We tried to set them up for both the same day but it didn't work out.

Yeaterday was my oldest grand child's birthday. I can not believe Taylor is 14. She had my heart the day she was born. She made me a grandma (Nanny). I was present in the room when she was born, and I touched her 1st. What a beauty she is both inside and out. She is the oldest of 4. She belongs to my daughter Carrie. Where does time go?

Also our son out in California, sent another pic of Daniel. He's growing like a weed!!

I hope everyone had a fun and happy and healthy weekend and will have a great week!! Thanks for all the comments. It makes my day more than you will ever know. Also sign up to follow me!! PLEASE???

As we used to say down south. Love, peace and chicken grease!!!

God Bless~

OH my Lord. 7 degrees? I would DIE! We are freezing in the 30's! I kid you not when I say it is 30 one day and 70 the next and it goes like this allweek. POOR, poor plants! Your grands are a handsome brood. I don' t look forward to saying "She's 14!". Not only because they'll be grown, but also because they'll be sassy! Thanks for always coming over to my neck of the woods. I appreciate your comments. Melanie

You sound much better this week. I am so glad. :o)
We are having a little spring weather right now. I wish it would last, but I know we need the moisture. Hopefully in the form of rain not snow.
Our weeks are now full with baseball and driving school. My older son is busy from the minute he wakes up until he goes to bed.
Have a wonderful week.

Love, peace and chicken grease? BWAHAHAHAHA!

I like to come here and see the pic of the three furbabies first thing; such sweet faces they have!

Where DOES the time go with these grandchildren of ours? I have one that is turning 16 on Sunday; I can hardly believe it!

I had my first colonoscopy last spring, just about a year ago; nothing to it. The worst part was drinking the prep but that wasn't even all that awful. Not that I'd want to do it all the time, though! :)

Take care, Debbie Jean!

Glad the chest x-ray came out OK and here's hoping all the blood work does as well. I had my first colonoscopy in September 2002(had to prep on MY anniversary)and it was fine except for one polyp they removed during the colonoscopy and 9 months later they found out I had thyroid cancer. Good to have a baseline one done for comparison purposes. Take care and have a wonderful weekend.

Just had to stop by to say Good Morning, and get a look at the pups and your grandbabies :). Although, I guess 14 isn't so much of a baby? Well, if you're a grandma like me, they will always be your grandBABIES!

Thinking of you, Deb, and hope you have a good day.
