Baby Brice is still in the hospital. He is finishing up his round of antibiotics via IV. I think he will go home Tuesday. It's been a long 2 weeks for the parents. They have been staying in a courtesy room at the hospital. I know home sounds good to them, and to baby Brice, to be free of needles and sticks. Please keep them in your prayers.
I saw my endo Wednesday and my A1C came down to 8.4. Of course that no where near normal yet, but it's moving in the right direction. He wants to see me again in 4 weeks. I certainly would not wish diabetes on anyone. It's a dangerous disease that you have to fight everyday. It has taken away my ability to walk easily, some of my sight, etc, but I am not ready to go to the other side yet. I take 8 shots a day and I feel like a pin cushion, but shots are what keeps me alive. I have living to do and grand babies to meet and watch grow. With God's blessings, I will.
I hope everyone has a great weekend. It is supposed to be cool here and rainy. Possible snow flurries. Spring, where are you???
God Bless~

I pray the bad weather moves right past you. Sounds like you need a little "spring" right now. :o)
We had 10 inches of snow yesterday and half of it melted today. Crazy!!!
My thoughts are with your grandson.
Bless ya,
Susan

We are all ready for spring, I think. We did skate by on this storm. Quite a it of rain but just a dusting of snow. I'm glad the baby is doing better. I know his parents are worn down.
Be safe.

I have been thinking of you and little Brice soooo much. My thoughts and prayers go out to both of you. I always refer to diabetes as the disease that keeps on taking. You have to be one to know just how true that statement is and I know you understand. Take care Deb...ILY
