No title Friday

Well I really can't think of a title for this blog...LOL..

We went to the VA hospital on Wednesday for David's GI visit. His labs showed he is anemic so they ran a CBC again and the doc called on Thusday and said they wanted to do a endoscopy along with the colonscopy because he is still slightly anemic. He has that fun on May 5th. Keep him in your prayers that they can figure out the reason for the anemia and it not be serious.

It's been a sad week. My neighbor across the street passed away from lung cancer. He was in his 70's I think. I found out yesterday that the lady that lives to my left, Diane, has a brain tumor. I didn't get the full details from her hubby. The dogs were barking and it was terribly windy so we couldn't talk much, he said she was sick and had a brain tumor. She is 50 yrs old and a very nice lady. Please keep these families in your thoughts and prayers.

It was in the 60's here today!! So nice. Of course next week we are due highs in the 30's-40's again but I will take this 60's and maybe 70 tomorrow and enjoy it!! I even opened my window some today to air out our bedroom. Felt so good!! I can't wait till spring. To plant tomatoes, flowers and my confederate roses that Laura~Peach sent me. I so hope they thrive so I can share pics with y'all. A confederate rose from Ga, shipped to Ohio!! How cool is that?

I want to thank everyone for the comments on my blog. They help me so much!! What would I do without y'all? I love ya!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!! Love, Peace and Chicken Grease!!!

God Bless~

I told you...love, peace and 'bacon' grease!!

Seems like there is a lot of sad news lately. It's just so hard for me to understand and process it all. I've always had trouble with the whole being sick and dying thing. I've got issues.
I will keep them all in my thoughts and prayers.

Roses from Ga...that is cool. I am ready to get outside and work in the yard but it needs to warm up here. It was sunny today but cold and windy. They are predicting snow for next week. Ack!

I love your 'no title.' I have the same trouble sometimes! Enjoy your weekend and take care...ily..

I, too, got out my confederate rose twigs just today and set them outside in their jar of water. I hope to plant them tomorrow. I've been hunting all over for the paper that Laura sent with them about planting them and I'm about to give up and call her.

Isn't the sunshine wonderful.

Seems we can't have a sunny day without the wind here in our area.
I am praying for a little rain, but only on Sundays. We have baseball games the rest of the week. q:o)
I was very sorry to hear about your neighbor. My prayers are with the family.
Hope you are having a good week.
Enjoy the pretty weather.
