Monday evening..

Today my 2 yr old grandson Cooper had his surgery. He is home and doing well. He had his adenoids removed and tubes put in his ears. The surgeon told Carrie that he had some of the biggest adenoids he had seen. Glad that they are gone and will cause sweet Cooper no more problems.

Baby Brice remains in the hospital. They think he may have picked up a staph infection. The 1st blood culture they ran came back, growing something. The 2nd one came back OK, but he had been on antibiotics, so that may have caused a false negative, so this morning, they did a spinal tap on the little fella. My heart just bleeds thinking of my 6 day old grandson going thru this. The white blood counts are good, now they are waiting to see if the spinal fluid grows anything. He will be there until at least next Tuesday, to finish out the 1st round of antibiotics. If the spinal fluids is positive it will be 21 more days. Please keep them in your prayers. It's hard being 1st time parents, bring a healthy baby into the world and then this happen. My son and daughter in-law are exhausted of course. I will update if there are any changes. It's been a tough last week. To much happening to the ones I love.

I have a Dr. appointment with the endo tomorrow. I will find out my lab results then. I hope they are better than last time.

I hope everyone had a good weekend and Monday. Have a good week!!

God Bless~
