Winter Blues

I have those horrible winter cabin fever blues. Since I don't drive, I am pretty much stuck in the house for days on end. It's me and the three fur babies. David tries to take me out some, but it's COLD and when he gets home from work, he certainly doesn't want to go back out in the single digit numbers. We are due a warm up this week. I think the highs are due in the low 30's!! We haven't had a terrible amount of snow yet, we've had enough by my counts, but the temps have been cold. We all know, I hate winter. I love the out doors and can't get out in this weather. Spring will not be here to soon.

Here's what we do a lot these days... The doxies lay beside me in the recliner. It's funny, both of them want the same spot, but they finally get comfy. Bucky lays over on the couch usually. Here he is on the ottoman.







OK, hours later..... I stopped this to cook supper, which was taco's. I went to clean up and what did we have? A stupid clogged sink!!! It was backing up under the washing machine. So David tried to plunge it, for a hour or so, and I put Drano down the drain with no success. So we called Roto Rooter. Now $170.00 later, I have a messy kitchen and a non clogged sink and a drained check book. When it rains it pours!! When I went outside to re lock the fence, I fell and hurt my arm. geez..... I smell like Drano, my arm hurts and I need to still clean the kitchen, and take a shower... ACK!!!!
