Grandchildren

I got some pictures of some of the grandchildren in the last few days and thought I would share.

It's been a quiet weekend around here. I haven't done much of anything. been very tired the past few days. I hope everyone had a great weekend and will have a fabulous Monday!!!

Some of my favorite things of summer :o)

I was in the yard today and decided to take a few pics of things I like about summer.

To begin with , Here are my 2 fur kids loving summer also!





Here is my patio, well my side one. It's the one I spend a lot of time on. It is off the kitchen and to the side of the house. This is where my patio chair sits, waiting on me.



Here is my back patio. We don't spend a lot of time here unless we have company. It's not covered like my side one is. I do need to do some work on that back area.
It's bland and needs some decoration. I would love a pond back there but finances don't allow for that right now.

I had 11 vials of blood drawn on Tuesday. they are checking me for some different things, like lupus, RA, etc. I had x-rays done last week and they found degenerative joint disease. I am not sure when I will find out. I have a Dr. appointment in a little less than 2 weeks, so probably then. I do know my muscles are very weak.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. I sure am. My mood is always so much better during this time of year. I know I get SAD during the winter and snowy months.

My Patio Chair

Jojo on her blog posted a pic of a find she found on free cycle for a patio chair. I too, have a nice find for my chair on my patio. I picked it up the 1st of last summer, got new cushions for it and think I have 20 in it all, It rocks and is so comfy!! Only problem is Bucky & Baby like it too. I love to go out and sit on my patio to wind down, meditate, watch the dogs and birds, squirrels, and just plain enjoy the outside. It goes to show you that there are treasures everywhere and they don't have to cost a lot. I love free cycle, craigslist and garage sales!!

Known Blogger Issue..

Monday night blog

I am still having problems with Internet Explorer. UGH!!! Oh well..

Last week I went to the doc and he had me get some x-rays taken of my knees. They called me Friday and said that the x-rays showed Degenerative Joint Disease. They are running some labs to see if I have Rheumatoid Arthritis or Lupus. I have those labs drawn on the 9th. He also took me off my Simvastatin to see if that is causing the severe weakness in my muscles. I am to not take them for 3 weeks, if I still have the weakness, more tests. He said statins can cause this. OK, enough on illnesses, let's look at some pretty stuff!!!

My yard is doing pretty good. I planted these last year and look what came in this year!! Pretty!!!! I love them!!!







Also, someone gave me some of this cactus. She didn't know what it was called. Does anyone know? It's not column cactus, or so she says.



I haven't gotten much planted this year due to my health, but I did plant 1 tomato plant yesterday. Got to have some tomatoes, if nothing else. I wanted to try the topsy turvy things, but everyone is sold out of them :o(. So I planted it the regular way. I still have some moon plant seeds and some morning glory seeds I need to plant. Also some 4 o'clock seeds. Is it to late to plant them now? Just have had a time with the weakness.

My granddaughter Sydney lost her 1st tooth the other day. Isn't she precious? She just graduated Kindergarten. She pulled it out herself while riding in the van with her Mom and siblings. I love this kid. She is so much her Mom and me. I call her Nanny's Mini Me.. LOL.

David is off next 2 days. he is sure happy and so am I. Walmart is messing with his schedule. UGH!!!!!
