Last week I went to the doc and he had me get some x-rays taken of my knees. They called me Friday and said that the x-rays showed Degenerative Joint Disease. They are running some labs to see if I have Rheumatoid Arthritis or Lupus. I have those labs drawn on the 9th. He also took me off my Simvastatin to see if that is causing the severe weakness in my muscles. I am to not take them for 3 weeks, if I still have the weakness, more tests. He said statins can cause this. OK, enough on illnesses, let's look at some pretty stuff!!!
My yard is doing pretty good. I planted these last year and look what came in this year!! Pretty!!!! I love them!!!
Also, someone gave me some of this cactus. She didn't know what it was called. Does anyone know? It's not column cactus, or so she says.
I haven't gotten much planted this year due to my health, but I did plant 1 tomato plant yesterday. Got to have some tomatoes, if nothing else. I wanted to try the topsy turvy things, but everyone is sold out of them :o(. So I planted it the regular way. I still have some moon plant seeds and some morning glory seeds I need to plant. Also some 4 o'clock seeds. Is it to late to plant them now? Just have had a time with the weakness.
My granddaughter Sydney lost her 1st tooth the other day. Isn't she precious? She just graduated Kindergarten. She pulled it out herself while riding in the van with her Mom and siblings. I love this kid. She is so much her Mom and me. I call her Nanny's Mini Me.. LOL.

David is off next 2 days. he is sure happy and so am I. Walmart is messing with his schedule. UGH!!!!!

What is that pretty flower? It doesn't look familiar to me. As for the others, well..they aren't familiar to me either. hmmm, I guess that is a testament to my gardening skills!

the plant is beautiful, not sure of the cactus breed, plant them when you feel up to it... if they do something great if not its ok too *thats my philosophy on plants anyway* love the mini you how cte and brave to pull her own tooth!

Love the flower, I a patiently waiting for my iris's/lillies to flower, maybe in the next couple days.
FYI: the #1 side effect of statin drugs are muscle weakness. I found this out 5 yrs ago, when we were wondering why my father became so weak...(he also has MS) He stopped taking them, and got better for the most part.

What beautiful flowers, and what a cute little toothless girl.
We have had lots of rain and I am waiting for the grass to dry out so I can mow. My flowers are loving the rain, but my boys are not. They want to go to Water World, but the temps. are too low.
