My new tater!!

My friend Deb at It's none of my business but... went to Idaho back in April to see another friend, Katie at My Very Private Public Blog. I collect thimbles, well I inherited collecting them when I got with David. His Mom collected them and to carry her wish on, it has become a collection of mine. I actually enjoy it quite a bit. We bought this printers drawer at a garage sale and it has become our thimble holder and we display it with pride. Deb got me a Idaho potato thimble and sent it to me. I love it!! It is so cute. I will always cherish it. The thimbles people send me are very special. I would love to have one from each state. I have none from the north eastern states. Each one holds a special place in our hearts. The collection will be given to David's daughter, my step daughter, Stephani, when we are gone. She loves it too.

On the shelf below the thimbles is my urn of my sister's ashes. I miss her so much. I still can't believe she's gone. I love you, Susan, and miss you so much!! Also on that shelf is a glass covered thingy. It has my Nanny's locket in it, and a piece of my sister's jewelry, a Noah's Ark, broach. She loved Noah's Ark, and collected it. I am glad I have them.

I hope everyone's Monday was good. It was hot here. I did get out to water my plants. I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow to get lab results and see him, for a follow up. David is off the next 2 days and I am glad, and so is he!!
