I in no way meant I would have to go into my power chair due to the arthritis. If I do, it will be due to the neuropathy and weakness in my nerves and muscles. I didn't want anyone to confuse what I said!! I am a fighter, always have been and will continue to. The neuropathy is something beyond my control. Thanks for understanding!! Also RIP Farrah Fawcett & Michael Jackson.

How was every one's Wednesday? It's HOT in Ohio. It was 95 actual degrees today, don't know what the heat index was. It was or is humid. Our air is not working in the van. We bought the van in the winter time and the guy told us it worked..LOL. WRONG!!!
I went to the doctor yesterday. The x-rays showed severe arthritis. My right knee goes out on me a lot, so he wants me to wear this brace. We went to get it today. Know what that thing cost? $653.00. I couldn't believe it. Thank goodness for insurance and medicare.

I know it's hot to wear right now, but I guess, I will have to put up with it, to walk, or go into my power chair all the time, which I don't want to do. That may be the only option soon, but as long as I can walk short distances, I will WALK!! My labs also showed a elevated sed rate. Not sure what that means but he is redoing the lab in 2 weeks and I will see him again in 4 weeks. He restarted my simvastatin, since going off it for almost a month didn't make any difference in the weakness.
I hope everyone that is in this heat wave to stays cool. I know 2 people have died in our area, due to the heat. I love summer, but not when it kills people. While we were out today, running errands, I was thankful for God's beautiful treasures on this earth. All the green grass, the trees, the beautiful flowers, etc. I do love summer.
Have a great evening and a beautiful Thursday. David was off today and yesterday and we enjoyed it. He goes back tomorrow, but thankful also for his job.

My mother-in-law has had both knees replaced, both hips replaced and surgery to her back. Living with arthritis has been really hard for her. She is 80 years old and still gets around, it just takes her a little longer.

ohh I Have a bunch of those knee braces they make you look stylish and cool lol!
The only person I know that would be begging for the heat is Hallie. I hope your brace helps you out. I have to say I finally know somebody who's legs are as white as mine at the beginning of summer. My little brother told me he's seen darker legs in the chicken section of the meat market in Winn-Dixie, a supermarket in Ft. Worth.
