Today was wonderful, cool, highs low 60's and sunny. We spent a good deal of the day outdoors. Sure does do a body good, to feel the warmer sunshine on your skin, instead of snow and COLD air. We went to the grocery, got a few steaks and a few taters and cooked out on the grill. It was fabulous!! Oh how I love spring and summer. Makes me miss South Carolina even more. Of course as soon as the sun sets, the colder air moves back in. The dogs loved it too. They played hard and all 4 are now worn out and asleep...LOL. We are working hard on housetraining Bitzy. She's a stubborn little girl.I had never had a dachshund until we got Baby last October, and now Bitzy, so I didn't know they were hard to housetrain. My other dogs, the boys, never have messed or peed in the house. I need to set up a appointment to have Bitzy spayed. All the other 3 are. Well Baby is spayed and Bart and Bucky neutered. I listen to Bob Barker...LOL.. "Have your pets spayed or neutered".
David had his MRI on his shoulder from the fall and it showed several tears in his rotater cuff. He goes to the doc on the 15th to see what's next with that. Anyone ever experienced this? If so what was the treatment course? I hope he can avoid surgery with the COPD. He is in a lot of pain although. Can't do anything with his right arm, and of course he is right handed.

That housetraining thing is the worst. I tell everyone that asks that to get a doxie means to let your house be used as a toilet for a long time!!
