I would like to wish all the mother's a very Happy Belated Mother's Day!
My daughter Carrie and her hubby Chad, along with the grands, Taylor, Morgan, Sydney and Cooper all showed up at my door Friday night, and surprised me with a Mother's day weekend. I was so happy to see them! Carrie took me out to Lowe's Saturday and got me 4 beautiful outside plants and planted them for me. Carrie mowed my grass, weed eated, and trimmed my bushes. The girls even helped with sweeping and raking. We thought our riding lawn mower had locked up, but somehow we fixed that. We had a beautiful and wonderful family day. The weather was beautiful. They left Saturday night to head back home, so they could spend time with Chad's Mom & Grandma.
Sometimes when life seems gray, out of the blue, Carrie brightened our lives with her family and love.
I am so blessed.
THANKS Carrie, Chad, Taylor, Morgan, Sydney and Cooper!!! WE LOVE YA'LL DEARLY!!!!!!
Seven Reasons Not To Worry
Matthew 6:25.....The same God who created life in you can be trusted with the details of your life.
Matthew 6:26.....Worrying about the future hampers your efforts for today.
Matthew 6:27.....Worrying is more harmful than helpful.
Matthew 6:28-30..God does not ignore those who depend on him.
Matthew 6:31,32..Worrying shows a lack of faith in and understanding of God.
Matthew 6:33.....Worrying keeps us from real challenges God wants us to pursue.
Matthew 6:34.....Living one day at a time keeps us from being consumed with worry.
Planning for tomorrow is time well spent; worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference. Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps, and schedules, and trusting in God's guidance. When done well, planning can help alleviate worry. Worriers, by contrast, are consumed by fear and find it difficult to trust God. They let their plans interfere with their relationship with God. Don't let worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today.
