Wednesday's are fun for me, but tiring also. So tonight, I am pooped. It's a beautiful day in Ohio. Lower humidity's and cooler. I sat outside for quite some time and watered my plants. We haven't had rain in a week, and it was so hot, the plants are starting to show the lack of rain. I water them everyday if it doesn't rain, but watering somehow isn't as good as God's rain. We also have a bad case of Carpenter Ants this year. They have almost killed 2 of my trees. If anyone has any suggestions, which don't require mega bucks, PLEASE let me know. They have now also got my bleeding heart plant my daughter got me for Mother's day, so Mama Bear is MAD!!!
I wanted to show ya'll some signs on David's barn.
He likes them all except Goofy's garage...LOL.. Carrie (my daughter) and her family got that for him for his birthday. We call him Goofy...LOL
The dogs so enjoyed the cooler weather today too. They wanted out a lot today!!

I totally understand, Deb. When my husband worked, I lived for the weekends when he would be home. He would come home from work every day exhausted. Retirement was a blessing. The prescription was finally filled so I hope to sleep well tonight. Take care. Keeping David in my prayers.

if you drink coffee they say the old grounds will drive them away if you sprinkle them all around where they are... cant swear to it but if you drink it it could nto hurt to try!

Seems like forever since i've been able to get out in the yard and take care of my plants. My husband does what he can but he's pretty tired after work too. This is so frustrating. This back/leg/neuropathy pain is eating me alive. Hope you have a good day and know that I am praying for you two.

thanks for the sweet comments, they really help. Knowing someone else who "gets" it has been a life-saver for me ;)
I don't take Metanx...do you think it helps? I started on Neurontin today but I looked it up and it has a lot of crazy side effects that i'm conerned about. He wants me to take if for a few day to see if it helps. Right now i'm taking Percocet for the pain but it messes with my BG's so I can't take very much. I think of all the "diabetic" related complications i've had the neuropathy has been the most difficult to treat and deal with. It just never seems to get any better. I really do try not to complain about it much as i'm pretty sure no one wants to hear about it, but, it is wearing me out. Take care Deb, thanks for the suggestions, i'm going to ask about it.
