Sleepless in Ohio

Hey everyone!

My sweet daughter Carrie, has been cooking her little heart out today and was sending pics on the cell as they were done.

David's very favorite dessert is cherry pie, so Carrie baked him one, homemade crust and all. She is little Miss Susie homemaker..Here is a pic of the pie. She made little snowflakes to use as the top crust!


She also made some fudge.. Yummy!!!


She also made a apple dessert and some pumpkin bars. I can't wait for the goodies! They will be leaving to come here tomorrow. The kids are getting their flu shots before they come up. They should be here by dinner time tomorrow. David is going to be off Thanksgiving after all. A young girl, who isn't doing Thanksgiving switched days with him. He works tomorrow and off Thursday. Thanks Heather!! Now we can eat before 8pm!! I will take some pics and share them later. I want to see pics of everyone else's day also!! I will miss my oldest daughter and her family, and my son and his wife, but am thankful to have Carrie and her sweet family here to share the day.

If I don't find time to blog until after Thanksgiving, I wish ya'll a very Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. All you other diabetics, shall we watch what we eat but enjoy it also.
