Sad :o(

Yesterday, I did one of the hardest things I have had to do in a LONG time. I gave my puggle away to a very good family. With mine and David's disabilities, Bart was having a very hard time with his energy. He needed to be walked, and given more activity than we could provide. He was my sidekick, my big buddy. But he also had caused me 2 hard falls lately. So, I found him a home, with another dog, and 4 children and a farm to play on! The family has emailed me back and worth and Bart seems happy and is doing well. I miss the ole lug. Bucky & Baby miss him too. It was such a hard decision, but it's best for Bart. I was being selfish keeping him.
I miss ya big boy!!! Please do not judge me harshly. It was a difficult thing to do.

Today is my son's 28th birthday. He is my baby. He's such a good son. I have great children. Happy Birthday Jeremy!!!! We love you so much! Wish I could be with you on this day.

Jeremy sent this pic of Brice on my cell phone this morning. Isn't it cute? My son golfs, so he got Brice a golfing hat..LOL. I miss them sooooooo much!!

Our weather today was glorious!! 84 degrees, sunny and beautiful. I spent some time outdoors, sitting on my patio and talking to my neighbors. It is so refreshing. I love this weather!!

Reddirt Woman said...: Not only do you have to do what is right for Bart, you have to do what is right for you. Sometimes what's right isn't what's easy. It wouldn't be very good to keep taking hard falls, and Bart has kids to love him and run him and play him out.

Brice is one cool kid with that topper. That would make a great screen saver for an adoring grandma.

I'm sorry about Bart, too, but I know exactly what you mean about hard falls. Did you see the post I had on my blog when our dog causes me to fall? It was at the beginning of February. Anyway, I'm STILL having some knee problems as a result of that fall!
