I would like to wish everyone a Happy May Day!! I so remember as a child, at school, on May Day we would wrap the flag pole with beautiful colored ribbon. Where have all the traditions gone?
It is very wet, rainy and thundering here today. I will do a better update soon.

When I was in elementary school, we did the May pole.

We also did a May Pole dance for
6th grade graduation. I remember I wore a purple and white gingham
skirt that my mom made for me.
We were married on May Day and had lots of beautiful may baskets all over the church.
I just love May. :o)

I'm glad you and David aren't out dancing around the Maypole since it storming. It means spring is here and the world is coming, once again, to life. Kids will be chompin' at the bit for their summer vacation and school being out time.
