David had his endoscopy and colonoscopy on Tuesday at the VA Hospital. We had to be there at 7:30AM and we got there at 7:25AM. He was checked in, arm band put on and was sent to the waiting room. 5 mins later a cute little nurse came after him, and I didn't hear anything or see him again until 11:30AM. Long time. They found a 22mm sessile polyp in his colon, and gastritis in his stomach. So he's on stomach meds and iron pills now. The VA said they'd call or send us the results of the polyp as they biopsied it. He said he hurts like they took his guts and but them in a blender and then stuffed them back in. I don't know why he is still hurting but it was done at the VA. I feel bad for him, but at least the tests didn't show anything to bad, but also didn't give a reason to be anemic. That's why they started him on iron 3 times a day. I don't drive anymore, but I keep my license updated for emergency purposes and for ID. I had to drive home and oh my was that horrible!!! My eye sight isn't very good. I was soaking wet when we pulled into the garage. I hope to NEVER have to drive again! Next time we will call Project Mobility to take us both. We both had our power chairs, as no way can I walk that much in the Va Hospital. David's chair is easy to get in the van, as he has a power lift but mine has to be manually be put on handmade ramps that David made, and that was hard, with David being in pain and dopey. I need a ramp for my chair too, but can't afford that!!! I am just glad it's all over with for now. Thanks for prayers on his behalf.
I also wanted to share a pic of my Grand daughter Taylor. She's 14 and they have their 8th grade formal dance tonight, and my daughter sent me a pic of her. She is so beautiful and all grown up. Makes me both proud and sad. This is a cell to cell pic, so alittle blurry.

Here is also a pic of Brice, his dad, (my son), texted to me last night. He's growing too!! So you see my oldest grandchild and my youngest grandchild for now. Boy, I love them both and the 12 in between them.

I hope everyone has a awesome weekend. I hope ours is sunny, warm, without rain. They are saying cool on Mother's Day, high of 60. It's OK, as long as it is sunny with no rain. I am now tired of the rain.
God Bless~

Life on our street has settled down a bit. What a scary thing for the boys to experience. Who would have ever thought there would be a drug dealer living down the street. Anyway, thanks for the comment.
I wish for you the most wonderful Mother's Day. My prayers are with you and your hubby now.
Bless you always,
Susan
Praying for good test results for David...I hope he's doing much better now.
