Surprise visitors and a surprise in my mail!!

Tuesday on my way to the doctor’s office for lab work, the doc is rechecking my sed rate, I got a call from my daughter asking if it was OK to come for a overnight and day visit. I said, now, Carrie, what do you think, OF COURSE!!! Any chance to see my children and grandchildren, is wonderful. She said her hubby Chad, wanted to come and clean out our gutters again for us. What can I say but, I have great kids!!! This is my daughter with 4 children. Taylor 14 yrs, Morgan 8 yrs, Sydney 6 yrs, and Cooper 2yrs. After blood work, David and I stopped by the grocery store for some food. Feeding 8 is way different than the 2 of us. By the time we got home, they were here within 10 Min's! We had a blast of course. Yesterday I fixed them a big breakfast, and then we grilled out burgs and dogs for supper before they left. Lunch was sandwiches, chips, etc.

In the afternoon, they took me to Lowe’s and got me some more mulch and some rocks for a flower bed. They put the mulch in my back bed, and the rocks on a bed my the patio. My gutters are now clean!!

They brought their 2 fur kids. here’s Morgan with Allie, their dachshund.



Here's their chihuahua, Ma Gale. Not sure if I spelled that right. It's a Mexican name.

Needless to say, I enjoyed every minute of those 24 hrs.

Today my doorbell rang and I went to get the door and it was the UPS man bringing me some of my mail order meds and a box. I opened the box, and guess what David had ordered me online as a surprise?




Yes, a Slap Chop!! I have been wanting one for a long time, and we couldn't find one. Guess I will let y'all know how good it works!!

I tried to use Windows Live Writer to write this, but, it would not let me add pics tonight, and this blog needed pics!! LOL.
