We left on Friday afternoon and it’s a 2 hour drive north of us. We took the dogs with us. Thy travel pretty good, but we do not have AC in the van and they were pretty hot. It was HOT last week. We got to my daughters and she fed us a wonderful supper. She made stuffed peppers. was so yummy!!!
Saturday we got up and had to go to the Pemberville Fair Parade, as Taylor my sweet oldest grandchild was in it. She is a high school cheerleader. That thing lasted 4 hrs I do believe. David and I took our power chairs as we had to park and walk a long way to get a spot to enjoy the parade. It was sunny and 98 degrees that day!! It was HOT! My daughter kept a water bottle handy, filled with water and kept spraying us down. We had a blast although.

After the parade we went home and the girls and Cooper got into the pool to cool down. We were hot and dehydrated!!

Now some pics of the dogs. They have a black lab mix who is a big ole lover boy. He is such a sweet dog. They also have a mini dachshund, and a chihuahua and 2 cats and 7 chickens.

And now random shots of the kids during the week.

Well, that took forever to upload all those. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!! We had a wonderful time and so enjoyed being with them. Grandchildren are wonderful little things. They bring so much joy into my life.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!!
God Bless~

I am so glad you got to go on a little vacation. I just love mini vacations. Your pictures are great and I love the doggie photos.
Our fall baseball season starts this sunday and I am looking forward to watching the boys play ball again. It was a nice little break, but now the fun begins. Games on Saturday and Sunday and sometime during the week.
Have a wonderful day,
Susan
Love all the pictures! I miss going to parades; haven't seen one in a long time. I know you all enjoyed yourselves--despite the heat!
