Change

I guess all things change and the change of seasons are nice, but I hate the thought of winter. I do love fall but that means snow will be here before we know it, and cabin fever will set in. I hate winter!! When I first moved to Ohio, 11 yrs ago, I thought the snow was cool and all, but now I hate it. I like it around Christmas time, but After that it can go away till the next Christmas...LOL.

Here are signs of "change" in my backyard today.
Falling leaves.

Leaves changing colors.

Back a few weeks ago I won a surprise, prize from my friend's, Jojo's blog. I received it last week and LOVE it!!

When we 1st bought this house a few years ago, I was hoping to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms but haven't yet, due to no funds. The hall bathroom is done in pink flowers and sage green. It's kind of done shabby chic, and I have grown to like it. Well, the gift Jojo sent, works perfectly into this bathroom. The toilet, sink, and bathtub are also pink. My granddaughters love it, and we call it their bathroom. LOL.
Here are some pics of the bathroom and what Jojo sent me.

This is the thing Jojo sent me and I added some flowers to it. Isn't it pretty? I love it!! She also sent me a candle. It is sitting beside the flowers on the counter. It's like she has seen my house! I love Jojo. I feel like she is my sister, I have never seen. We are so alike in many ways, both medically and in thought. Thanks again, Jojo. ILY!!!

Here is something I have hanging on this bathroom door.

I have been bad at emails, keeping up with folks lately. I have been having some medical tests run, etc. The doc also changed my meds around, which caused more tiredness and sleepiness, so the bed has been my favorite spot. LOL. I had a brain MRI and a carotid artery ultrasound and loads of blood work, done. My ultrasound is OK, but the MRI shows something, they said they'd talk to me about next week, at my appointment. It's not serious, I don't imagine as it seems they would tell me earlier than next week. I had the MRI, as I have been having mini stroke signs. When the nurse called to tell me the results, she said something about something with the small vessels. I am trying not to worry. The doc also put me on Cymbalta to help with the CFS and Fibromyalgia. It is making me sleepy. Some good news is I have my diabetes alittle more controlled. The endocrinologist is going to be happy when I see him in early Oct. We just have to live each day and enjoy it and God's Blessings. I have loads of blessings and my blogging friends are some of those blessings.

David saw his pulminologist this week and he wants to do another overnight oxygen test. He may be going back in for a sleep study to see if they need to increase the pressure in his CPAP machine. Otherwise he is doing pretty good. COPD is scary and not fun, but David makes the best of it. I am proud of him. He fights it, and is still working 40 hrs a week, most weeks. Standing on his feet over 8 hrs a day. he's a good man.

I hope everyone is doing well. I do read your blogs but don't comment like I should. I hope to get better at it. I hope I haven't lost my readers, being slack like I have. I so enjoy comments!! Stay with me guys!!! I update on face book more. You can find me on there as Debra Ford Bemis.

Until nest time!!!

God Bless~

Oh Deb, I love the bathroom. really, I think it is just cute as pie. And that has nothing to do with that prize thingy you won!

I am worried about you and your tests, I hope you get good new soon. Be sure to let us know . Glad David is doing well despite having to work so hard...he is such a trooper.

I'm with you...I like fall but not so much winter. It's so dark and dreary and I also get cabin fever...I don't even want to think about it.

Glad you posted...you should do it more often, it's so nice to hear from you. Take care sweet...

It was nice to catch up on your happenings. I hope everything goes well with your test.
The Colorado trees are just now beginning to change. I want to take a drive to the mountains and check them out, maybe next weekend.
Take care and I will be praying for good test results.
