++++EDIT++++

Today Oct 2 is also my daughter Carrie and her hubby Chad's 10th wedding anniversary. Happy Anniversary kids!! I love you, and wish you many many more happy years together. Here is a pic of them, Carrie texted me, before they went out.

+++++End of EDIT+++++

I do not know why I am having such a hard time blogging, but I am. Maybe it's because I read other blogs and do not feel mine measures up to theirs. I don't have the followers they have. But this blog is for me, so I guess that doesn't matter. Some people have beautiful writing skills, and I just don't. If you follow or read my blog, I apologize for that. I love my blogger friends, and hope that they will continue to bear with me. PLEASE leave a comment if you read this, so I know someone is there!! LOL

I got my results back on the MRI and ultrasound. The carotid ultrasound was normal. I was happy about that as my grandfather had surgery for that when he was in his early 60's I think. The Brain MRI showed some evidence of some minor small strokes in the past, but nothing to major. The doc said we were already doing all the medications he'd start someone on with this result, so things are OK, I guess. He said not to worry about it, so I am trying not to. I am happy for the health I do have and try not to worry about the things I can't control.

I have been on the depressed side lately. It will be 1 yr since my sister Susan, died, on Oct 23rd. I don't think I actually grieved a yr ago, as I thought she'd come back, it was a bad dream, I don't know, but I am now doing the grieving thing for her. I miss her so much. Maybe once the anniversary passes, things will brighten up.

It's been down right cold in Ohio with freezing temps at night. I am not ready yet!!! I am sure that we will get some more warm days, or I hope so. I did some fall decorating on my front porch today. I need to buy a couple pumpkins. Usually it's tradition for the kids and families to visit me on Thanksgiving, but 2 of them can't come this yr. I am so sad. The wonderful money situation in our land. Carrie and her family will be here, Lord willing, but Jeremy and his family, and Aubrey and her family can't afford the trip this year. Sure wish I could win the lottery!!! LOL. I bet we all do!!!

Well, I will wrap this up with a few pics of my sweet Brice. They are so good to supply me with pictures. 1st one is my son Jeremy and his son, Brice in their SC Gamecocks Jersey's!

God Bless~

Hey Debbie Jean! I just wanted you to know that you are not the only bad blogging buddy... It seems like life sometimes intereferes with our good intentions. And you are interesting in the things you write... After all, nobody I knows besides you has a beautiful g.b. Brice! Loved the photo of him and his dad in their Gamecocks shirts.
Hang in Deb... just keep on visiting all the folks you enjoy visiting and give us an update every now and then. No pressure... we just like to say hi or hear you now and again. Blogs are supposed to be fun, not work or guilt inducing.

Love you Deb... don't stress yourslef out, okay? Good.

Praise God for a good report on your MRI!

I know what you mean about blogging. I haven't blogged as often, or visited as blog buddies as much.

I'm praying for you as you grieve for your sister. God will give you the strength to get through this difficult time. Praying for PEACE for you!

Blessings,
Beth
P.S. What a cute pic!

Hello sweet Deb,
I am SOOO relieved that your tests came back good. I know how much you were worried and now you can relax just a little, but only a little I know, with d it's always a challenge.
I wish we lived closer so we could spend some time together. I just know that we would have a great time! I feel isolated a lot of the time being unable to drive and constantly having to have the hubs take me places. I know it wears on him too and then the whole guilt thing starts up. Damn disease sucks the life out of everything, if we let it. I know it's so hard some times to shake myself out of this dark place but blogging seems to help. Don't worry about how many people sign up to be your 'friend' your real friends come here and check on you often, hoping to see an update, and leaving you a comment. If you look at my 'friends' you'll see that several of them are spam and a few are animals and such...not really anyone who leaves a message. It's hard but it really shouldn't be important.
I love all the pics...you certainly did produce some gorgeous children!! No wonder those gbabies are so beautiful. And fun! I keep hoping I will have some of those soon...
you take care Deb and know that I am here anytime that you need me. ILY

Hey, DJ,
Life does seem to happen, doesn't it! I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet sister. Hopefully, you will find peace in your heart about her.

My kids all come home at Thanksgiving too. It is a lot of work, but I do enjoy it. I'm pooped when they go home!

Your blog is just fine. I don't write a lot of personal stuff in mine either, but I hope I can help someone smile, once in awhile.

Blessings to you, dear blogging friend!

I love the way you write. I have always evjoyed reading about you and your family.
My blog seems boring when I read other people's blogs also. I pray everyday for the gift of writing, but I guess God has other plans for me. Not sure what they are, but I will wait and see. {:o)
My thoughts are with you right now with the loss of your sister.
Have a great week and stay warm.
Susan
