First of all I will be having hand and wrist surgery on October 1st. That's a Friday, a week from Friday actually. I had a MRI of my wrist as they thought what we were seeing was a mass. It turns out it was inflammation of a big tendon in my wrist. I also have carpal tunnel so they are doing both surgeries at once. Pretty large incision the hand surgeon says. When I had my right hand done, the carpal tunnel, I had it microscopically, so hardly a incision. This will be different and I am not completely ready for it, but I am completely ready for the pain in my left hand and arm to go away. It hurts really bad and is quite swollen, so it's time. I will not be put to sleep but given a Beir Block. Never had that before either, so not excited about it. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers please. This is my second surgery this year.
Yes, Bailey is in heat. I so wanted to have her spayed before this heat, but funds didn't allow it. I WILL have her fixed somehow before the next one. It's just gross.. LOL.. Here is a pic of David holding her with her diaper on. She will not leave that thing on!!! Anyone got any ideas?
She has cramps...LOL.. Sleeping in her diaper, all covered with her blankie.
We went to run an errand yesterday and got all the way thru it, seeing many people, and on the way home, I look down and see this... ACK!!!!
Why didn't anyone tell me, including my sweet husband? I felt so stupid.
I can only wear crocs so I have a few pairs and they are in a basket. Well, with my tunnel vision and the poor eye sight, I thought I had the right shoes. Well, I did have crocs on, but just different colored ones..
It has been such a hot summer and early fall. I am sure looking forward to fall this year, NOT cold weather or snow, just a cool down.

poor little Bailey - she looks worn out.
Praying for great outcome from your surgery. Sounds like you will be in less pain almost immediately even with the incision. I think I would need a very very big valium if they didn't put me under!!
PS I wore mismatched heels to work years ago, and they were even different height heels! At least yours matched!

surgical pain is so much less than cronic pain... hope you feel better soon!
I think you will do well with the Beir block, you will be numb from the elbow down and they'll get you groggy too! Hope it all goes well and works wonders. It sounds like you have been dealing with it for a long while.
My surg is on the 8th so it sounds like October is doctor month. ack~ Hope you and David are resting better with the cool down. Take care ILY
Love the shoes, the other day when I was at the middle school, the special ed teacher had a black one and a red one on. You talk about special. {:o)

did you check in your area with the pound etc to see where you can get your baby spayed for a lower cost? check craigslist too, they may have postings for low cost spay and neuter.
i chuckled at you and the different shoes. my mother in law went to the airport, flew to Vegas and got to their hotel room, and realized she had on two completely different color shoes. That was almost 20 years ago and we still laugh about it.
