I don't know about Y'all but I have been doing a lot of pre Thanksgiving baking today and thought this was cute and needed for tonight.. LOL. I have my daughter Carrie, her hubby Chad and her 4 munchkins, and my son Jeremy and his wife Amanda, and their little munchkin Brice, all coming for Thanksgiving. I have been sick for the last month. Not sure still what is going on. My surgery hand is still not good, but David has helped me, liking cutting up the onions and celery, etc. Thank goodness for him!!! I am so excited about spending time with 2 of my 3 children. My oldest daughter, Aubrey and her family can not make it up from Mississippi. So, as of tomorrow, I will have a very full house, full of love and laughter. I am a happy woman, and hope after the holiday, I will be able to get to what is wrong with me. They thought I had shingles, as I had all the signs of it, but never broke out. I took the shingles medication, but never got better. Extreme pain in my ribs. I had a chest x-ray and all is OK on it. I would much rather deal with all this physical pain, than to deal with the mental pain, some of my blog friends are having to deal with this Thanksgiving. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers please. Well on to Maxine and Martha.

Just in case you planning to do a little cooking.
To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes

Buy Hungry Jack mashed potato mix. Keeps in the pantry for up to a year.

When a cake recipe calls for flouring the baking pan, use a bit of the dry cake mix instead and there won't be any white mess on the outside of the cake.

Go to the bakery! Heck, they'll even decorate it for you!

Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks.

Celery? Never heard of it!

Cure for headaches: take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.

Take a lime, mix it with tequila, chill and drink! All your pains go away!

Don't throw out all that leftover wine. Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.

Leftover wine???????HELLO!!!!!!

God Bless~
