First of all, a week ago Friday, my Mom, who lives down in Charleston, SC, fell at the beauty salon. Mom will be 80 on April 28th. This is the same salon I used to work at when I lived down in Charleston. One of my childhood friends was actually cutting her hair. I guess she got up from the shampoo bowl and started walking over to the chair and slipped and fell. Now my Mom is considered blind. She has a bad case of macular degeneration. 1st question to me is why was she walking on a slippery floor without help? UGGGGGGGG!!! I guess she continued on with her cut and style hurting. It was a Friday afternoon and she went the complete weekend without seeing the doctor. She had xrays on Monday and she has 2 fractures in her back. She goes to see a orthopedic on Feb 2nd, I think. I feel so bad for her. She is in a lot of pain. I wish I lived closer to help her. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers please, they she will heal fast and good, and the pain to ease. She is a tiny woman. I am glad she didn't break a hip.

Second, would be my sweet little dapple dachshund Bailey. She once again has hurt her back. I made a appointment and paid for her to be spayed on Feb 8th. Well right after I did that, she started screaming in pain again, the next day. We took her to the vet on Friday and she has a slipped disk in her back. She has degenerative disk disease. They gave her a shot of cortisone Friday and told us to bring her back if she didn't get better. We took her in again today, and they gave her another shot, and told us to make a appointment for Thursday for another shot and possibly pills also and to postpone the spay. If it doesn't get better the only other option is surgery, which is far beyond what we could do. He suggested the sad thing, if she doesn't get better. She is only 3. She is the sweetest dog, I have ever owned. She asks for nothing except to be in your lap and give her love. Please also pray she gets better, as I don't even want to think of putting her down. I adore that sweet dog. But money wise we can't handle a handicapped dog.
3rd is me. I have to go see a rhematologist on Feb 8th. My sed rate has been high for over a year now, and it's gone up more, so they want me to see a specialist. Also I am having a lot of weakness in my right hand. I have to eat with my left hand and all. My legs are also very weak. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers please, as we can get to the reason for all this.
The 4th thing is something, I don't want to publish on my blog. It has nothing to do with my health or David's or anyone else's. Also David and I are fine. No relationship problems. It's a finance problem. Please just pray we are not going to be homeless, soon.
We have been so cold here lately. Below 0 at night. We still have plenty of snow on the ground also.

I think Arkansas where my son lives has had their share of snow also. Here is a pic of Brice in the snow there.

I am not sure if I have shared any pics of our newest grand son, Kayd. He belongs to David's daughter, Stephani and hubby Bryan. They live out in Washington State, where they are in the Navy. He was born Oct 7th, 2010. He has a older Brother Jayden and a older sister, Skylin.
Here is Kayd Robert. He was grandchild # 15 for us!!!!

All 3 of them.

Well, if you made it to the end of this bless you...LOL. Hope I didn't bore you to bad. Please keep my family in your prayers, as well as my blogging buddies, who have their share of trials also. I love you all!!!
God Bless~

Debbie Jean: So sorry to hear about your Mom - our mom's are just about the same age - mine was 80 in November.
Hoping your puppy's back gets better! She looks like a sweet dear little thing. My Augie looks like a GIANT dachshund compared to her.
Hoping an answer will be found for the weakness the pain and the sed rate.
Last of all, hoping your house doesn't go into foreclosure. All of this stress and that too is terrible!!!
Thanks for sharing the sweet baboo pictures. I have you on my prayer list I will just upgrade you from "generic" to specific!!!! My heart goes out to you.
you are in my prayers. always.
Oh Hon...Of course I'll add you to my prayer list. Sounds like it's all hit at once (which it usually does).
I'm hoping your Mom and sweet puppy get better soon. I had to put my last dog down at 4 years of age. Financially, I just couldn't get her better.
You are very blessed to have such a big wonderful family with adorable grandbabies. Hang in there and it will get better...
Sorry to hear about your mom people seem to be way to busy these days but it is a real shame when they don't have time to help the elderly.I will keep her in my prayers hope she does well. I shall also keep you in my prayers as it is hard when you live so far from your parents and feel that they need your help. Have a blessed day!!
hugs and many many prayers... Love the pics... all of them.
Debbie,
My prayers are coming your way right now.
I pray for your mom, your sweet dog, your health and your weather.
Please know that you have lots of friends thinking and praying for you right now and believe me the power of prayer really works.
Hugs,
Susan
Debbie Jean, you have so much going on right now. Please know that I just lifted you up in prayer and will continue to do so for as long as you need.
We have a beloved pet (Jake) that ruptured a disc ove 2 years ago and is now paralyzed in his back legs. I just wrote about it on Monday. It's not expensive to own a handicapped dog, just takes more time and alot of commitment, it's worth it!
