OUCH!

Just wanted to let everyone know, I had my surgery today. I am home in a lot of pain, that vicoden's are not touching. I am ok. The damage was a lot worse than the doc had thought. A 45 min surgery turned into a little over 2 hours and general anesthesia. I will post more later. I appreciate all prayers. I love you all!!!

God Bless~

Oh lovie, I wish I were there so I could take care of you...and visit of course! I'm glad that this is over with and now you can get on the mend. I hope you did well with the anesthesia and that the pain subsides soon...be sure and call the doc if the pain isn't helped with the meds. I feel so bad for you...ILY

So why didn't they keep you overnight? I don't get it anymore. You need some morphine honey. I'll be praying. The green color of anesthesia hasn't even left your cheeks and your home. I couldn't work like this. Make sure your breathing deeply ever 2 hours. elevate your arm as much as you can stand and watch your fingers. Make sure you can feel them and that they blanch quick when you touch the tips. If you have any questions call your doctor!!! You may want to let the doctor know your pain is not controlled NOW before the numbing on the inside wears off and their office closes. That much surgery you need some nursing care. You have my sympathy.

Wow Debbie Jean, this is terrible, Vicodin? after surgery? I take that every day for arthritis pain. Sure hope you start healing quickly and like Karen D says call that doctor and get some real pain medicine! Big gentle hugs.
