I left the last blog thinking I was dying...LOL.. Boy the pain of nerve surgery is great. My bandage kept falling off and David would have to reapply it. Today I went to the doctor and they took the bandage off, put some more steri-strips on it, and re wrapped it, and he wants to see me again on Monday. I start Physical therapy next Tuesday. The doc said if I get the function back in my hand it will take at least 2 yrs! It is still clawed up and he said it could get worse.
My Mom will have back surgery on the 11th. They are going to inject a cement type stuff in where the brakes are. Please keep her in your prayers.
Thanks all my friends for your prayers and thoughts. I have a long way to go but the surgery is over and I am happy for that!!
I hope to be back soon!! Hugs to all!!!!
God Bless~

O Debbie Jean, you are in my prayers - you have to be in such pain from the surgery. Sounds like a long haul for the rehab. Nothing is every easy is it??
Praying that the cement technique works for your mom - I have read it is minimally invasive and releaves the pain and dysfunction very quickly, hoping that is correct.
Well I hope it does not take two years for your hand to get better!
All the best for your Mum too.
Oh honey I am so sorry that you are still going through so much. this picture of you almost made me cry.
I hope therapy helps and that you heal sooner than they think you will.
I am still praying for you and your mom.
Hang in there honey and I so appreciate you wishes to me when you are going through so much yourself
Love ya
Maggie
