Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!!
We hope that you had a great and lucky day!!! We didn't do a whole lot. I made goodies for the neighbor's again, and David cooked his Corn Beef and Cabbage dinner. I am not a lover of corn beef but do enjoy the cabbage and potatoes that go with it. I will usually eat a small piece of corn beef to make David happy and to show him, how much I do appreciate him cooking. He does that about 5-10 times a year and when he does, I do not complain!!
Here is a pic of the food and then a pic of my plate.
It was quite yummy.
Here are some pics of the goodies I made for the neighbors. For my neighbors to the left, I sent cupcakes, as it's just the 2 of them.
For the family down the street, I sent a whole cake. This is the family that has the teenage daughter who we have kind of adopted as a extra grand daughter. The mother has been quite sick, and just got out of the hospital.
The girl loves chocolate, so it's is devil food cake with cream cheese frosting.
Here are our left over cupcakes. Come on over and have one!!! There is plenty!!
The lady whom we bought the top aquarium from, called last night and asked if we wanted to get some more fish (cichlids). She gave me a steal of a deal, that I could not refuse, so we now have probably 75 cichlids in the tank. We think we are going to give the goldfish and Koi to someone with a pond, and use the bottom tank also for cichlids. Cichlids, have such personality, and are so much fun to watch and feed. I do love my carp's but they are lazy and don't do a lot. The cichlids actually interact with us. This is the cichlid tank.
A close up of some she brought us last night.
Here is the carp tank.
We have added a few decorations, It is going to be our skull tank. We are having lots of fun with this. Hey, Ness, what size is that tank, Roger has?
Today was also my grandson Brice's 3rd birthday. He is our St. Patty's day boy. Here is a pic of him, with the gift we sent him. They live in Arkansas. He loves Woody from Toy Story. Isn't he the cutest? Looks exactly like my son Jeremy, at that age.
Here he is with his annual picture at Hooter's with the girl's. What a expression he has. He is learning young to like the girl's!!
Happy 3rd Birthday, Brice!!! Nanny & Grandpa love you!!
Well, I hope everyone had a great day, as we did. So warm here, in the mid 70's!! Got a few windows open, feels so nice. Usually this time of year we are still below freezing at night and 50 as the high, so this is weird, but I will not complain. I just wonder what kind of summer we will have. I love it HOT but David with his COPD, can not tolerate it to hot. I seem to feel better when it's warmer. My neuropathy and fibromyalgia do better I think, or maybe the sun just makes me less depressed, I don't know.
Leave some love for me if you were here!!
God Bless~
Debbie

Beautiful fish. I have never had luck with fish. I'd love to have a salt water tank and clown fish.
Your grandson is adorable. Don't you just want to freeze them. Happy Birthday to your cutie.
This weather is so weird. We had terrible rain this week and lots of flooding. More rain last night.
