Happy New Years and more sad news.

I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!!! I pray that 2013 will be a much better year for my family, than 2012 was.

Now for the sad news.....
My step-father, who was married to my Mom for 44 years, died yesterday. My Mom died October 10th. The story behind his death is strange still. We at this time, are not sure exactly what happened, other than, he shot himself in the head. The person whose house he was at, says, he was happy, and was cleaning his .380 derringer and it accidentally went off and shot him, above his eye. Now anyone who knows Bob, knows he has carried a gun, for over 40 years. He was a military police, and then a state police. He knew how to clean a gun. This person says he got up, went into the kitchen and heard a gun shot, and found Bob. Something stinks to me and the family. It is under investigation, as to whether it is a suicide, etc. This is 3 deaths for us in the matter of a few months. Please pray for my baby sister, LeAnne, as Bob was her father. She has now lost both her Mom and Dad in 2 1/2 months. Mom & Bob got married when I was 13.

He lived in Charleston, SC, where both my sisters are. I am unsure of the plans yet for a memorial, etc.

I was going to put up my Christmas post at my daughter's but it seems wrong at this time. Please continue to keep my family in your prayers. We need some peace right now.

Also for those who are also on my facebook , do not mention this on FB, as there is a investigation going on, and for my sister's sake, and the families.
