Here is Baby my doxie, so enjoying a beautiful Monday in Ohio!! It's so nice today, I opened the windows, turned off the AC, and sat on the patio all afternoon.
We had a terrible storm last night which hurt a tree of ours. I went to let the dogs out this morning, and had tree limbs all over the place. My next door neighbor, Rick, came over after he got home from work and with his electric saw, chopped it all up for me. Bless his heart! I have really nice neighbors.
We also found out yesterday that grandbaby # 13 is due in Jan, 2009. They have 3 daughters already, so we are all hoping for A BOY!! Let's all think boy for them. Doesn't matter to me, but David's son is the last of the male family, on his side, so we need a boy to carry on the name. So, BOY, BOY, BOY!!! If God decides it's a girl, we will be happy too, of course, we just want a healthy baby.
I hope everyone had a good weekend, and a good Monday. Mine was quiet, and I tried to rest some. I am only 52, will be 53 in August and to young to feel like this!! I guess having diabetes for 35 yrs, does something to a body.
God Bless everyone and thank you so much for your comments!!
Debbie

I am 50 but some days feel 70.
I enjoy your posts and find they help me some days.
I hope you enjoy your upcoming grandchild. Thank you for sharing this with us;
Warmly,
David
I'm an August baby too! And type 1 for 39years. It's not easy...this disease, and some days are dreadful. I am so grateful to be alive but it sure would be a treat to feel "good" for awhile! Not sure I even remember what that was like.
Hang in there Deb. I'm thinking of you and hoping you'll feel better.
Thanks for your sweet comments today. I certainly don't feel like i'm a strong person, just someone trying to survive. Congrats on Grandbaby #13...I'm still waiting for one!
Take care.
