Well, I have not blogged in a few days. I so need a new laptop, or to get mine fixed, which is a $150.00 charge. That's $150.00, I do not have. The power pin is broken, well loose, and in order to type, I have to hold the cord, just right, which is very hard to find. I also have severe diabetic neuropathy and artritis in my hands so, it is quite a hard thing to do!! Painful!!
Tuesday and Wednesday is David's days off. Tuesday we spent the whole day at the VA Hospital with David, trying to get his meds, see a doc, etc. What could be more fun?? LOL. It was a pretty day and didn't have the time to enjoy it, and then yesterday we had severe storms, hail, winds, etc. We are once again under the gun for more today. The storms are just west of us. David is having a hard time breathing in this hot humid weather. I so wish he didn't have to work, his doc doesn't want him to, but he has to so we have some insurance. I feel so guilty. I pray everyday to find a way or to not feel so guilty. God is good, and I rely on him, to get us thru and take care of us. He always has taken care of us.
Tomorrow is David's birthday, and of course he has to work. He will be 55. I will turn 53 at my next birthday , August 20th. Seems we are young, to young to be going thru these health issues, but it could be lots worse, I know.
My tomato plants are doing great! They have the flowers now, just awaiting the fruit. I can't wait to eat a fresh tomato, without fear of salmonella, etc...LOL. Seems everyday they are recalling some kind of food for e coli, salmonella, etc. I wish I could just grow all my own foods! My neighbors although might not like chickens in my yard! LOL. Or a cow. I could be a vegetarian but David couldn't.

I'm worried about you two, hope things are o.k. It seems that times are getting tougher all around and I know meds are not cheap. I take 17 meds a day and if we didn't have insurance we would be living in our car. It is a scary situation for sure. And you are right...you're too young to feel this crappy!
Glad to see you updated and I love, love, love, the new layout. My fav verse is from Proverbs 3:5 "trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not to your own understanding. In all tehy ways acknowledge him and He shall direct your path." It's helped me through alot of hard times ;)

Happy Birthday David... We are eating some tomatos from the garden but it seems as thugh about half are having to be thrown out case of the heat ruining them... well that and lack of rain... Hope you get your puter fixed I mailed off the lap top today in hopes of it being fixed ... mines under warrenty so hopefully All this trip will cost me is postage...
