I don't have a lot to say today. I am tired and kind of "under the weather." My pain level is high and doesn't seem to want to let up.
My oldest daughter got back home on the Mississippi coast after Gustav. I am so happy for their safety. Please keep my family in Charleston S.C. in your thoughts and prayers as Hanna decides what she may do. My Mom and 2 sisters and their families live in Charleston. I lived there for 42 yrs and went thru Hurricane Hugo. That was no fun. We had no electricity for over a month, no fresh water, etc and I had 3 young children. It was miserable and I feel for people in hurricanes.
2 of my goldfish died, so I took them back to Petsmart and they replaced them and I got 2 more, so I have 6 which is all that my 12 gallon aquarium will hold and the fish be happy. I chose to do a tank without a heater, as I didn't want to worry about temps, so I chose a carp fish, that didn't need temp control. They re so relaxing to watch. I suggest everyone to get a tank. Helps relaxation.

I hope everyone is doing OK. Stay cool in this heat. We are in the mid 90's today, and it's humid. Just kind of miserable here. We have a air advisory today so it makes it hard for David to go outdoors. I am glad he is off today. I wish with his health he could be everyday.
Oh by the way, I finally got a vacuum. Thank Goodness. With 3 dogs and my OCD about cleanliness, it was a necessity. LOL.
God Bless~
Debbie

I promise i'll always leave a comment!! I wonder sometimes too when I don't get comments for awhile...but then I can be a little insecure ;) I like the aquarium, it does look relaxing. Now i'm trying to figure out where I could put one too!
Sorry you two are not feeling well. I feel so bad for David, it must really be a struggle on those humid days. He's such a trooper! You too!! I think we deserve some kind of award for living with this crappy disease and being such good sports about all of it. What do you think? Had my second round of epidural pain injections today and don't feel real hopeful after hearing the doctor say "come back in two weeks and we'll do it again." This is so frustrating.
It sure seems like fall here---do you want me to send some of it to you ;))
Debbie, I'm so sorry I haven't left a comment lately. I read and check on you but don't always get a comment done. I'm keeping you in my prayers tonight that tomorrow will find you doing better and that Hanna will leave your family alone.
i read but I dont always leave a comment... the computer wont cooperate or some lovely something such as that... Hope you are feeling better and love the aquarium!
hugs Laura
I too wonder how my blog could possibly have 889 hits and a handful of comments! (please don't misunderstand, I appreciate the comments I have received) Recently, I read of blog etiquitte.. telling *me* if you stop by comment and if you receive comments..acknowledge gratitude. I've changed my blog habits!
