OK, I am calling out to all Doxie owners. As you know I have a mini Dachshund named Baby. She is 3 yrs old, spayed, etc. She has of late, started doing her business on my carpets!! Last night she, after just coming in from outdoors, jumped up on the futon in the computer room, while David is in there and proceeds to pee on it. David yells to me and I immediately pick her up and put her outdoors. When she came in, I put her in her crate. Earlier that day she pooped twice on my carpet. I have little stains all over on my carpets, which, I clean, but I am getting mad!! I hate to have to get rid of her, but can't do the carpet thing. I am not able to get on my hands and knees to clean it all the time.My neuropathy limits that. Anyone have any ideas to help? I have never had a dog do this. My boys are completely house trained. She doesn't have a infection or anything, as she seems fine, not sick or anything, active as ever.
On to other things. My vacuum gave out yesterday also. No money to buy another one right now. When it rains, it pours!! I have been checking craigslist for one.
Any help regarding Baby would be sweet. Like I said, we love her to death, but can't deal with the mess. I just want her to quit doing this!!

Sorry to hear about Baby and her issues!! Not sure what to tell you. My Arthur did the same thing after he was neutered. He was neutered, our guinea pig died and Alex started school in the same week. Was a little too much stress for our little guy. He also had some issues a couple weeks agao after he got into some lunch meat......had a tummy ache for 5 days, so would just go wherever. grrr....Now he's fine. Hope you're having a great Sunday!
Those dachshunds are sensitive little dogs and pick up on things that's happening in their family's world and it makes them anxious. We have had fleas bad this year and maybe when she goes out, the fleas attack so she started going in the house. It represents a change so something is going on with Baby. I'll keep her in my prayers.
