My grand daughter Sydney's 1st day at Kindergarten :o)

I wanted to share a few pics of one of my grand children. This is Sydney. She is 5 years old, has 2 older sisters and a baby brother. She is my mini me. She looks just as I did as a child. It's amazing. Well yesterday was her 1st day at kindergarten, and she insisted she wanted to ride the bus, on the 1st day! What a brave little girl. The bus driver is actually a friend of my daughters somewhat, as her daughter and my oldest granddaughter Taylor are both of the same cheer squad for their school.

Here she is, before the bus came. Her bookbag is as big as she is!! LOL. She's a peanut!

Here she is saying "Peace out"!

Here she is on the bus.

And last, here she is sitting on the steps with her baby brother Cooper, waiting for the bus. Are they not the cutest children alive in the whole wide world?

What would I do with these people in my life? There are 10 more of those precious children in my life, as I am their "Nanny." 2 more will be here my spring of 2009. I am blessed, truely blessed, and I thank God daily for them. Being a grandmother is the best gift, God gives us.

I hope everyone has a beautiful and safe and cool weekend. We need rain bad!!

God Bless~
Debbie

absolutely precious ;) I can hardly wait for the day I get to be a grandma. My son is getting married next summer and my daughter just got married and they are both arguing over who should have the first baby...so maybe it'll happen while i'm still healthy enough to enjoy it. God Bless your little sweeties. Have a good weekend Deb.....

Your words are so true...being a grandmother is such a special gift from God! My daughter had three impacted wisdom teeth extracted on Thursday...what a joy to spend so much tiime with my 2 grandgirls (2 and a half years old and one and a half year old) Those moments with these two precious babies, bring back a chapter of my life written thrity years ago!
You truly have a beautiful family!
