Doctor's appointment, Christmas Tree and Locks of Love.

Well, I finally saw the endocrinologist today. He is a great doc and asks a lot of questions, and does a good exam. He of course is not happy with my diabetes. I of course have type 1 and have had it for 30 plus yrs. He is trying me on several different insulin's, plus the insulins I am on, and once I get my numbers in better control, will try a insulin pump. He drew 9 vials of blood and did a urine check also. I have never had that much blood drawn, but he is checking everything. Finally maybe he can help me. I am sure hoping. I see him again Dec 18th, and he has set me up for a diabetes class also. It's been yrs since I went. I have brittle diabetes and it makes it tough. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers that I can get this in better control, cause if I don't, I don't think, I will be around for long.

My granddaughter Sydney wanted to have her hair cut for Locks of Love. She's 5 yrs old and I am so proud of her for doing this!! What a big and brave little girl she is, with such a giving heart. You have to have 10 inches to give them, and she gave exactly 10 inches.

We got our tree up 2 days ago finally. We put up a 4 ft tree on a table, since it's just David and I. I think it's pretty. I love to sit here and look at it.

Here is a picture of our front door with the stockings hung. There's one for David and I, and Bart, Bucky, and Baby. Santa always remembers the fury children with toys and bones :o)

I hope to get pics of the outdoor decorations soon. I hate to go out and take pics as it's so COLD!!

I hope everyone has a great Thursday evening. Mine will be resting and watching Grey's Anatomy, as my pain level is sky high today. The cold just kills me.

God Bless~
Debbie

PS. By the way, if you wonder why all the Santa's, I LOVE Santa Claus and collect them, for Christmas.
