Well, this years Christmas is one I will never forget. I haven't been this sick in years. I have lost 12 lbs in 4 days. I needed to lose it plus more, but not this way!! It all started on the Day before Christmas Eve. I was so achy, and felt bad. My tummy hurt, I just didn't know, so I thought it was the fibro acting up, like stress will cause, and the gastroparesis. I tried eating oatmeal that day and it tasted bad to me. My all time favorite Diet Dr. Pepper didn't taste right either. I slept a lot that day in my recliner. I never nap during the day, so that should have told me something. I went to bed, after David got home. He had to fix his own eats, not sure what he ate. We were so looking forward to 3 days together and he being off. Then about 9pm, oh I got sick! I almost went to the ER as my stomach and chest hurt so bad, I thought maybe I was having a heart attack. I ate some tums and tried to lay down but couldn't. Then about 2 hrs later, I started. Things were coming out both ends. That went on all night, and I quit the up chuck's that next morning, but still felt terrible and had the other end troubles which still continue. I took some amodium today, I couldn't take it anymore. I finally ate some baked chicken and alittle cottage cheese tonight, as I am so weak, I felt I needed some protein. So far so good. Poor David had to eat waffle house for Christmas dinner. I owe him a good dinner once I feel up to it. I also have a sinus infection I think and a very bad tooth. The tooth, well 2 together need to come out. One is broken off to the gum line and my mouth tastes yucky. Its a back molar. I am just a mess!!!!!!
I see everyone had a great Christmas, and I am glad. Hopefully, Lord willing and I am still around, my next years will be better. I am happy that everyone else's was. Thanks for all the well wishes, the love and prayers. Please continue to pray that this is finally leaving my body and I get back alittle stronger each day and will be better soon. I sure do love y'all!!
Well, I am off here and I am going to lay in bed, and rest. Just writing this wore me out.

i do believe what you have has made rounds across america my mom has had the same exact thing! God bless you and I hope you are feeling better! I wish we were closer :) Hugs Laura
your page is so pretty! i'm sorry you were so sick. How have your BS been? I wish i was there to help out, except the cooking lol, not my area!
oh what a horrible thing to have happen at this time of year! I think you have what I had! we have an epidemic! LOL
I am hoping that today you are feeling 100% better and that you have some strength back.

Awww, Deb, I had the same thing! I hope you are feeling better by now, but it sure does take some time. To be honest, I still feel a little worn out from all the effort it took to do two unpleasant things at once ;). Let's hope New Year's is much better than Christmas was. On the bright side, however...Waffle House has awesome raisin toast!
